Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, DJ Brian Pate has been performing to audiences all over the United States for over 25 years. He is a two time North Carolina DJ of the Year (1997,2012).
Brian’s career started in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at multiple nightclubs at the beach until he moved to Raleigh in 1989. As he continued to hone his craft performing at some of the most popular night clubs on the east coast, he began to get more calls to provide DJ services for weddings. After the birth of his first daughter, he gave up the night club business to focus on weddings and corporate events exclusively.
A nationally respected speaker at many music industry conventions including the Nighclub and Bar Magazine convention in Las Vegas, The DJ Times Magazine convention in Atlantic City, Billboard Music Summit in Chicago and Winter Music Conference in Miami, Brian’s message is always about raising the bar of professionalism in your business.
For 12 years, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce in his hometown and is involved in many community events where he contributes over 200 hours per year of volunteer time to local charities and schools.
